Enter the Dark is a short ghost flick that reminds us of what Paranormal Activity could have been. Rob invites his friend Charles over to investigate the ghostly noises and such that drove Rob’s family away.
This film runs only 17 minutes and presents the audience with a concise and entertaining story. The filmmakers utilized the fear of the dark expertly; the characters explored an unlit house with only a camera with night vision and a flashlight. Rob and Charles, played by Rob Sandusky and Charles Yoakum respectively, are convincing characters that create a plausible yet creepy atmosphere.
Though this film experiences limitations with having such a short run time, it is an all around good film that is well worth its modest run time to view.
This film was screened at the 2011 Buried Alive! Film Festival.
